Winnipeg, Man- With some major weather issues disrupting travel by flight in Europe, the Thunder Bay Timberwolves were not immune in their efforts to leave Prague after their game against the Piranhas on Monday. The team and their Airbus were stranded in the Czech Republic for six hours longer than they had wanted or expected. Meaning there being any chance of relaxing before their game in Winnipeg on Tuesday were squashed.

To help matters, Brian Elliott stopped all 14 shots faced in opening 20 minutes. Elliott got the nod over Henrik Lundqvist who started the last two days.
